Garaj Mahal on quick Northeast tour in April
Garaj Mahal will be taking a quick tour of the Northeast this April, and will be joined by their friend Sean Rickman on drums. Sean is well known for his drumming with MAXWELL, Meshell NDegeocello, Randy Brecker and others, and has toured with Garaj before on the drums.

Cave is a winner in the 2007 Independent
Music Awards, whose esteemed panel of judges
include Peter Gabriel, Ozzy Osbourne, McCoy Tyner, Paul
Oakenfold, Suzanne Vega, Cyndi Lauper, Marc Ribot, Buddy
Guy, David Grisman, Bebel Gilberto, Bill Frisell, Rob Wasserman
and FatBoy Slim. The album was selected as the Winner
of the Album - Jam category from the largest number
of entries the program has received to date, according to
award organizers Music Resource Group.
Garaj
Mahal will be featured in the 2007 Musician's Atlas
and in the on-line
Jukebox, their CDs will be available for sale at BordersStores.com,
and their winning track, "The Shadow," will be
featured on the compilation CD that will be distributed
at SXSW and other major festivals.
